Mold remediation in Jackson MI

This home sat vacant for months before a water damage was discovered.  By then there was visible mold through out the basement on structure and personal property.  Calling SERVPRO to help, we involved a qualified IH to perform mold and air quality testing to ensure the main level was not affected by mold spores.  Containment was set between levels to protect the main level.  All carpet and drywall in the basement needed to be removed and the basement dried.  Using air scrubbers and dehumidifiers, SERVPRO dried the remaining structural materials.  Be sure to check on vacant properties on a regular basis to avoid this type of damage.
